Closed Until March 31st
As a public health precaution due to COVID-19, Montana Grizzly Encounter will be closed to the public March 19th through March 31st, and beyond if necessary. This is a preventative action to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and to ensure the safety of our community, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
During this period when the sanctuary is closed, essential animal care and operations staff will continue to provide the best care possible for the bears and goats. We continue to develop plans to ensure the animals will be well cared for in the event of extended disruption to regular operations due to COVID-19.
MGE Season pass holders will automatically have their passes extended.
We look forward to reopening and welcoming visitors back at the first opportunity we can responsibly do so.
